Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of every child. We combine careful staff
observation with parental input to create a unique program for your child.

The curriculum at the preschool level emphasizes conceptual, perceptual, language
and social development. Typically, each child participates in daily directed lessons and
creative experiences in these areas. The emphasis in each of these areas is determined
by the individual needs of the child.

In our primary program, our curriculum stresses reading, math, spelling, and
language. The curriculum offers opportunities for children to develop creative self-
expression. We monitor your child’s progress closely and make sure that each child
receives academic instruction at his or her level.

Parent Participation

At the Center, we believe that parental involvement is an integral part of every child’s
education, and we encourage as much contact with parents as is desired. Parents are
always welcome to participate in our program and share with us their special talents.

Fall and spring Open Houses are always times of great enjoyment for our children,
parents and staff. Fall and spring conferences will be scheduled according to the
parents’ convenience.

Safety

A primary concern to everyone at the Center is the safety of all of our children. Each
child is instructed in the proper use of equipment, and fire drills are held monthly. At
the Center, we regularly review these procedures to make sure that the safety of
each child is protected.
