Live cameras are recording 24/7 and are visible in our office during school days.
Keypad entry gate requires families to use their code to enter our Center. All visitors must call the office from the entrance, and will be greeted in person.
Alarms sound on all doors that open toward the outside of our secure facility.
A professional cleaning crew cleans every night, after hours when children are not present.
More than half of our staff have been with us over a span of seventeen years. All staff have been fingerprinted, screened, and cleared via the Department of Justice before they start working at the CLC.
All staff members fully understand the importance of caring for children as if they were their own; most are parents themselves.
Six of our staff are CPR certified, at least one is present at all times.
At least two certified teachers are on duty during our hours of operation, including opening and closing times.
Regularly held staff meetings/in-services always address safety and health topics.
Overall child to staff ratio is 8:1. 2-year-old classes will have up to 8 students per day. Remaining classes will have up to 10-12 per day. Additional support staff are on duty throughout the day to assist as needed.
Children are instructed regularly regarding personal, playground, and classroom safety and etiquette.
Proper handwashing is instructed.
Monthly fire drills and quarterly earthquake/emergency drills are held and recorded.
